I moved to Ohio in 2006. I was just 12 when I started working at my family’s restaurant. I began as a dishwasher and slowly worked my way through the kitchen. I prepped, cooked, and eventually moved out to the front—bussing tables, hosting, then serving. That’s where everything changed for me. I realized I didn’t just enjoy food—I loved being part of someone’s meal.

It all started with a love for serving good food and seeing people enjoy it. Without much money, I turned that passion into a food truck—and that grew into Chido’s Tacos. Now we’re here at 101 S Fountain Ave in Springfield, OH, making fresh, scratch-made Mexican food every day. From tacos to birrias, everything is cooked with real ingredients and real care.
